Most bookkeepers record what happened. We build the structure so you can do something about it.
There are four ways to work with us, from a one-time look at your books to ongoing monthly support. Most owners start with a cleanup or a diagnostic, then move into monthly work once the picture is clear.
Financial Cleanup
Most popular · one-time, then optional ongoing
For the owner whose books are behind, messy, or they’re just not sure the numbers are right.
If you’ve been avoiding your books because you don’t trust what they’ll tell you, this is where we start. We rebuild from the foundation up so you can finally see the real picture of your business, often for the first time.
What we do:
- Evaluate your current chart of accounts and rebuild it around what you actually want to track
- Catch up and correctly categorize every transaction
- Reconcile your bank and credit accounts back into balance
- Clean up or rebuild your vendor and customer records
- Hand you a fresh, accurate set of financial statements you can trust
What you walk away with: current, reconciled, reliable books, and a clear answer to “where do we actually stand?”
Monthly Bookkeeping
Ongoing
For the owner who wants accurate books every month without becoming the bookkeeper.
Once your books are clean, this keeps them that way, organized around the numbers you care about, not a generic template. You get timely, accurate financials every month and a real read on the business, not just a data-entry service.
What’s included:
- Monthly categorization of income and expenses, with receipts linked to transactions
- Monthly account reconciliation
- Accounts receivable — invoicing, statements, and tracking money owed to you
- Accounts payable — bills recorded and paid on the schedule you set
- Payroll and payroll tax filing (run at whatever frequency you need)
- Monthly financial reporting, plus a quarterly portfolio you can hand to investors or your banker
What you walk away with: books you never have to think about, and reports that actually tell you something.
Diagnostic Review
One-time
For the owner whose revenue looks fine but something feels off, and they can’t name what.
This is a single, deep look at your books and your numbers to find the errors, gaps, and leaks that are quietly costing you. It’s the fastest way to answer “why doesn’t this feel as good as the top line says it should?”
What we do:
- Review your books for errors, miscategorizations, and gaps
- Look beyond the P&L to find what’s actually driving the result: overpaid roles, hidden inventory waste, margin leaks
- Diagnose the cause before recommending a fix (we don’t just say “cut expenses”)
- Deliver a clear, plain-language summary of what we found and what to do about it
What you walk away with: a straight answer about what’s really going on, and a prioritized list of fixes.
Systems Setup
One-time
For the owner who runs everything, nothing happens unless they make it happen.
You can’t delegate what isn’t documented. This builds the structure behind your business so your team can run things without you in the room, and so the books and operations connect instead of living in your head.
What we do:
- Build SOPs for your financial and operational workflows
- Set up a file system and document structure your team can actually use
- Map who does what, so handoffs are real, not theoretical
- Connect your bookkeeping to the way the business actually runs
What you walk away with: a business that works because of the system, not because of you.
Just getting started?
If you’re forming a new business, we can set the foundation up correctly from day one: entity registration with your state and the IRS, an operating agreement, tax accounts, and your books built right into QuickBooks Online or Xero. Mention it on your call, and we’ll walk you through it.
Not sure where to start?
Most owners don’t know which of these they need, and that’s fine. That’s what the call is for. We’ll match the service to what you actually need, not what earns us the most.
